How to use

A short guide for children and parents.

Start

🧒 For kids

  1. Start with the check

Pick your grade in Profile and take the short check. The fox sees what you already know and picks tasks that are just right.

  2. Solve tasks

Pick a topic. After 5 right answers in a row the tasks get harder, after 2 mistakes in a row easier. In a new topic the fox first shows an example with its solution, and "👀 Example" opens one at any time. Got one wrong? Tap "💡 How to solve it?" and the fox shows the way. 10 of 10 in a round is 5 stars.

  3. Solve logic puzzles

The "Logic" tile on the home screen: brain teasers for grades 1–4. They earn coins and stars too.

  4. Earn coins

A right answer pays 2 to 4 , and every 5 in a row 3 more. Solve 20 tasks in a day and collect the reward on the home screen: 30 . Up to 100 a day come at full pay, then 1 for every 2 right answers in a row.

  5. Play

Coins are for games: races, battles, arcade and puzzles. Space Battle, Duel, Tic-Tac-Toe, Slap!, Times Grab, Fifteen, Say 100 and Boss for two are free. Every game has math in it too.

  6. Dress your hero

Tap your hero at the top right and choose “Shop”. It has tabs: heroes, clothes, pets, things for the pet and the snake. Your hero tries clothes on in the Wardrobe first. The hero level grows with every right answer and is never spent. The colour of a frame shows how rare a thing is, and the numbers under the hero show how things help in Space Battle. The walk card on the home screen shows what to wear for today's weather.

  7. Raise a pet

After 20 right answers a pet hatches from the egg. Feed it, wash it and play with it so it grows. Every day dress it for the weather: a raincoat or an umbrella for rain, a hat and a jacket for cold. If you forget it, nothing bad happens: it just looks sad. For coins your pet can turn into another one: a common one for 150 , or a rare one: a wolf cub, a fennec fox, a raccoon, an axolotl or a baby dragon.

  8. Come back every day

Every day there are three tasks for the chest and a new puzzle of the day. Solve at least 10 tasks a day and your day streak 🔥 grows. Achievements of the day, week and month pay coins, and every grade has achievements of its own.

  9. Walk the adventure map

All of a grade's topics on one path: pick your grade or any other. Get 3 stars in every topic of a part and fight its boss. A certificate waits at the end; all of them are kept in Profile.

  10. Compete with friends

Send a friend a challenge: they get the same 10 tasks, and whoever solves more, faster, wins. The Leaderboard shows the best of the week.

  11. Profile

Tap your hero at the top right and choose "My profile". There you find your name, grade, language, sound and your progress in every topic.

👪 For parents

  1. Free, no sign-up

Your child can start right away. Without a parent account progress is kept only in this browser and sent nowhere. Coins and things can never be bought for money.

  2. The parent area

Tap the hero at the top right → "For parents". Sign in with Google and choose a PIN. The PIN is asked on every visit, so your child cannot open the settings even if your Google account is open on the device.

  3. Add your child

Your child plays on this same device: tap "Add" → "Plays on this device". On their own device: they open Profile → "Get a code", and you type the code in. Everything already solved is kept.

  4. Follow the progress

The "Progress" tab shows right answers this week, hard topics, the level in every topic and tests. The "Achievements" tab shows what your child earned today, this week, this month and in each grade. For hard topics you can print a worksheet with answers.

  5. Set the rules

On the "Rules" tab you can set homework (topics or a whole grade and right answers in each, every day or once), open coin games only after practice, limit games per day, fix the grade, choose the city for the pet's weather and take your child off the public leaderboard.

  6. Goals and rewards

On the "Rewards" tab set a goal, say 50 right answers in times tables and 30 in fractions for a trip to the cinema: each topic or whole grade has its own number. Your child sees the goal and the progress on the home screen. For a good mark you can simply give coins.

  7. Safety

Your child needs no account. On the leaderboard they show only under a random nickname, without a name. Ads appear only on the article pages about the topics, never in the game itself, and are not personalised.

  8. Like an app

The menu (tap the hero at the top right) has “Install the app”: FoxSumKids goes on the home screen of a phone, tablet or computer, opens like an app and works offline.

Questions and answers

Why do fewer coins come now?

Practice pays in full up to 100 a day. After that coins come slower: 1 for every 2 right answers in a row. Answers still count: the hero level and the stats grow. Tomorrow the full pay comes again.

Can the progress get lost?

Without an account progress lives only in this browser: clearing the browser's data deletes it. Add your child to a parent account and progress is kept in the cloud.

How do I move progress to another phone or browser?

On the old device open Profile → “Move progress” → “Show a QR code” and point the new phone's camera at it. Without a camera, type the code into Profile on the new device. The code works for 15 minutes, no account is needed, and the progress is copied. After that the devices are not connected: to keep progress the same everywhere, add your child to a parent account.

Can progress be kept without a parent account?

Yes. On the first visit the site offers to make an account or sign in, and later it is in Profile → “My account”: a child picks a nickname and a password, no e-mail needed. Signing in with them on another device gives the same progress there. The server keeps the nickname only as a one-way hash, the name from Profile is not sent, and such an account is not on the leaderboard. A forgotten password can be changed on a device where the account is still open; otherwise it can’t be recovered. Later a parent can add the child to their account with the code from Profile, and the progress moves there with all devices.

Can two children play on different phones?

Yes: “Games” → “For two” → “On two phones”. Your child picks a game (Tic-Tac-Toe, Times Grab, Fifteen or Say 100) and sends a friend the link, shows the QR code or reads out the code. Both phones need the internet, no account is needed. Only moves and emoji from a fixed set go through the server, there is no chat. The game is free and pays no coins.

My child plays on a phone and a tablet. How do I combine them?

Add your child to the account, then in the parent area pick them → "Devices" and type in the code from the second device. Progress from both is combined.

I can't change the grade

A parent has fixed it. It can be undone in the parent area → "Rules".

No more games today?

That is a rule a parent set: coin games open after enough right answers today, or there is a games-per-day limit. Practice and the free games (Space Battle, Duel, Tic-Tac-Toe, Slap!, Times Grab, Fifteen, Say 100, Boss for two) are always open.

Forgot the PIN?

The PIN cannot be reset, or a child could do it too. You can delete the account and create it again: progress stays on the children's devices, and you add the children again.

How does class mode work for teachers?

The teacher opens the menu → “For teachers”, signs in with Google and makes a class, then picks topics or a whole grade and how many right answers each needs, and shows the class the QR code. Children join without accounts: each picks an animal with a number. The teacher sees at once who has solved how much, who needs help and where the class goes wrong, and all of a pupil’s answers with a tap. A ⚠️ marks where a pupil has trouble: the teacher can give that pupil, or everyone who goes wrong there, more tasks of that topic. The teacher writes the names, and only the teacher sees them, on all the teacher’s devices. The “Worksheet” button turns the task into sheets with variants and answers, to print or to save as a PDF and send to the children.
