About us
Hi! This is us
Mom: Keeper of the rules
Makes sure the site stays fair and calm: no ads in the way, nothing sold to kids, no mistakes in the tasks.
Kirill: Game inventor
Came up with Space Battle and is the first to try every new game. If he gets bored, we make it again.
Dad: Chief builder
Builds FoxSumKids in the evenings when everyone is asleep, and fixes whatever Kirill finds broken.
How FoxSumKids began
Chapter 1. A white shirt and a green vest
In the autumn Kirill put on his white shirt, bow tie and green school vest again. A new school year began, and with it came math homework.
Chapter 2. Workbook vs games
The sums in the workbook went slowly. Very slowly. But games? Kirill could play them for hours. One day he asked: “Why are games fun and math isn’t?” We had no answer.
Chapter 3. We went looking
We tried lots of apps, but none was both fun and fair.
- An ad after every sum
- All the fun costs money
- “Buy gems!”
Chapter 4. Kirill’s idea
So we decided to make our own. The three of us sat down one evening, and Kirill said straight away:
“Let the hero fight aliens, but only with right answers!”
That is how Space Battle was born. It is free, and its card says: “Game idea by Kirill”.
Chapter 5. Where the fox came from
We needed a friend who gives hints, explains and cheers with you. In fairy tales the fox is the cleverest of all. Fox + sum + kids = FoxSumKids!
Chapter 6. What happened next
One game grew into tasks for grades 1–9, games, a pet and a wardrobe for the hero. Kirill tests every new thing first. If he asks for “just five more minutes”, we got it right.
Our rules
- All tasks are free.
- We never sell anything to kids for real money.
- No sign-up: progress stays in the browser.
- Ads only on the article pages for parents, never in tasks or games.
- Three languages: Latvian, English and Russian.
With love, Mom, Kirill and Dad 🧡
